AdHawk is your connection to a variety of hyper-local content, promotions, and interactivity. When AdHawk detects the presence of a beacon it will provide a notification with the option to view more information related to that beacon.

What is a beacon? Beacons are tiny Bluetooth based radio devices which emit a unique signal. When placed strategically throughout a retail environment, for example, they can be used to tailor unique experiences for customers.

AdHawk is designed to be non-intrusive and simply waits in the background for a nearby beacon to be detected. Its important to note that battery use is conserved by enabling radio only when in the vicinity of a beacon.

Q: Will I be annoyed with constant notifications?
A: You will only receive a notification when AdHawk detects a beacon. The typical range of a beacon is around 10 meters. Beacons can also be unliked to ignore any futher notification.

A: Beacons are Bluetooth transmitters and are usually placed in or around various points of interest. Beacons can be used to notify customers of in-store specials, provide movie goers with times and trailers, and countless other possibilities!

Q: Does this app share my personal information?
